This is a beautiful nature park, where one is allowed, after paying $10 for a day, to drive onto a fabulous beach for almost 60 miles. Not my type of beach, apart from the wildlife as I prefer no cars to smell their petrol but others might like it like this. Most annoying, there is lots of plastic in the water or sand - I have never seen as much on any of the beaches around the planet. ![]() ![]() Fish jumping repetitively like dolphins, besides the local very clever black birds The most amazing was the wildlife: hundreds of pelicans passing a few metres above us all the time or diving in the water not far from us. The water was warm while very windy outside but again not clearĤ. The sand is not flour like in Clearwater or other Florida beaches, but even so I noticed a car got stuck in the sandģ. Apparently in holidays there is car parked near the other, which I could not put up withĢ. I have never been on a beach where you can drive your car right to the shore and on the second day there were more cars meaning the space between the cars was around 20-30 metres, meaning you could hear the crappy local music - I wish some people kept their music to themselves. We surely got burnt in early March simply by playing sports in the water, which was rather warm even in the windy day we were there.ġ. ![]()
